Each Birmingham lathe is built with outstanding features for great machining performance and customer satisfaction. The 1236 headstock operates with all hardened and ground gears and shafts.

Changing Chuck is quick and easy by use of a D1-4 Cam Lock Spindle Mount. One piece Main Spindle is supported by High Precision Tapered Roller Bearing . Lubricated Oil is Constantly circulated by splash system with magnetic filtration system.

Birmingham YCL-1340GH Precision Lathe

The Birmingham lathe bed is made of high-tensile cast iron in rigid construction structure, the bedway is ground and hardened. All gear head stock with oil immersed lubrication design, provides vibration free and free V-belt replacement.

Provide 8 spindle speeds from 70 to 2000 rpm, change speed by means of lever. The main spindle is equipped with 2 precision taper roller bearing’s.
